Villa Belvedere, now a holiday apartment house, was born as a small hotel a short time before the Winter Olympic Games of Cortina in 1956. It has been enlarged and renovated until recently, and its half-century history accounts for the subtle charm evoked by its walls and the people it has hosted all through the years. It is located in San Vito di Cadore, ten minutes' drive from Cortina d'Ampezzo, in a splendid, quiet, sunny place mid-way between the village and the woods. In winter it is near the ski slopes, which can also be reached on foot. The apartments, comfortably appointed and almost all with a balcony, have different sizes depending on the number of people accommodated, from two to six. The house is provided with an ample parking lot and an extensive delightful garden with trees and flowers where you can relax while admiring the most beautiful mountains of the Dolomites. Pleasant creatures live also at Villa Belvedere: the curious noteworthy sculptures realized by its lovely landlady, which leisurely watch the come and go of the guests.
